*Additional Local events may be added or amended. Final schedules/dates will be distributed at the parent meeting. *Team Key: 1 Top, 2 Navy, 3 Royal, 4 White, 5 Silver *Note: M1 has attended the USA Jr National Tournament or the AAU Jr National Tournament for the past 14 years. Both events are high quality, however hundreds of top teams throughout the country have left the USA tournament in favor of the AAU Nationals over the past 2 years. Although each has its share of top teams, the junior volleyball community across the country is so large and is currently split. Ultimately, this is just fine since the major objective that matters at M1 is that our team members face great competition and gain high levels of collegiate coach exposure in a well run National event. We will continue to watch both events over the next few years to see how they grow and improve. After attending the USA Jr Nationals for 20 straight years, we are also very happy with the AAU National Championships as they both provide top level National Competition. Mizuno M1 will attend the 2014 USA Jr National Championships in Minneapolis. For 2013, M1 will attend the AAU Nationals in Orlando again. We feel this is the highest quality, most competitive, and most convenient & well run National Tournament for our members at this time. This event will conclude in June prior to the 4th of July Holiday weekend. Nearly 2000 top club teams from across the country have chosen this event as well. *All team members have a down pmt due at tryouts/signing of $650. Monthly Season installments begin Dec 1st. M1 is outfitted and supported by Mizuno for 15 years: All players outfitted with uniforms, practice gear, warmups, shoes, bags, kneepads, socks. *Airfare is not included in any monthly fees/budgets. All M1 members have the option of flying/traveling with their families or with the M1 Travel Group. Airline Tickets are purchased/paid for upon booking. This allows for special itineraries, extended trips and custom flight times. Those that wish to book with the M1 Flight Group will be able to do so. Team Lodging is included for all out of state events. (Except 2013 GLPL: Members have opted/requested to book family rooms for this series only to avoid additional fees). Each season/team schedule is unique. 2013 info will be posted here prior to tryouts.

Hey M1 Juniors and Seniors! Mizuno M1 will be travelling with 4 teams to the SCVA Las Vegas President's Day Invite in February again. This is the top Collegiate Recruiting event in the country each year! M1 181 182 171 172 will compete in Las Vegas in February of 2014 We will play against many of the top teams in the country at this Elite Event! Top teams will also compete in the 2014 Mpls NL Qualifier and/or Indy Nat'l Qualifier and the NJC in Chicago in May. Our collegiate bound athletes will have an abundant amount of exposure with college coaches at these Elite Events.
Our Top 181 and 171 Team will compete against the best teams in the Midwest all season in the Great Lakes Power League in Chicago. *Thank you for your responses/requests and shown interest in this excellent league opportunity. Dates are listed below. As requested by our current members: our 2013 families have chosen/requested to transport/lodge the players with parents each week for the GLPL only. M1 families will avoid additional unnecessary travel and lodging expenses for this series. M1 has made arrangements for team lodging and a block is set up. We appreciate the feedback and suggestions. This arrangement saves $100s for each family. For 2014 we are considering even more options. Info will be posted later this season. This is hosted by Sports Performance Volleyball at the Great Lakes Center in Aurora Illinois. The Nations #1 Recruited League. M1 is proud to have had the top 18s team in the North Country Region 10 of the past 14 years. The Great Lakes Power League in Chicago will ensure our Top teams will continue to have a very high level competition/training schedule throughout the entire 2013 season. M1 15s and 16s! Mizuno M1 will be travelling with our top teams to the Sports Performance President's Day Invite (Chicago) in February. Mizuno M1 will be travelling with our top teams (15-18s) to the Fusion Collegiate Showcase (Wisc Dells) in March. These two Mid Season events consist of many of the top teams in the Midwest and are loaded with college recruiters. Mizuno M1 171 Won the 2012 Showcase Championship by defeating #1 Nationally Ranked KIVA 171 in the Finals! *All of the Top M1 15s-18s Teams will compete in the 2013 National Jr Classic over Memorial Day Wknd in Chicago. *All of the M1 Travel Teams (12s-18s) will compete in the 2013 AAU Junior National Championships in Orlando in June. M1 12s, 13s, and 14s! *In 2013, our #1 12s, 13s and 14s teams will compete in the AAU Junior National Championships in Orlando in June.
